      James Fox is the second of three sons, born to the theatrical agent Robin Fox and his actress wife Angela Worthington - aka Angela brothers are the actor Edward Fox and the producer Robert started acting as a child actor and used his real name, until he reached his early 20s. CHARLES FOX began reporting on the Getty kidnapping in and was contacted by J. Paul Getty III himself in the early s to work on his autobiography, leading to much of the reporting in Uncommon Youth. Fox's award-winning journalism has been published in a variety of publications, including Esquire, Harper's, and Playboy. He has also written two novels.
